Six pages instead of one

An empty two-lane road running toward the horizon

When people find this site, they usually did not come for a book. They came because something happened. A diagnosis. A funeral. A kid who stopped talking. A friend who texted a link and said read this.

One page cannot speak to all of those people at once, and I got tired of pretending it could. So there are now six. You pick the sentence that is true for you today, and you get one page written for that mile: what I wish someone had told me, one line from the book, and one thing to do next. Nothing to fill in. Nothing is recorded about you except a count, so the next person knows they were not the only one standing there this month.

If you are at the very start of it, the page will not try to sell you a book. That is on purpose. The book is for later. The page is for tonight.
